Bluestem Energy Solutions developed, owns, and operates the tallest GE wind turbine in the state of Nebraska (along with its counterpart in Polk County). This single-turbine project in Cuming County near Wisner is a 2.5MW GE turbine with an 89-meter hub height and 127-meter rotor diameter. Cuming County Public Power District purchase electricity from the project, benefiting from power cost savings, a more diverse wholesale power mix, price certainty, and boosts to local tax coffers through economic development.
